Bempton Cliffs, Yorkshire
In August 2019 I visited the beautiful Yorkshire coast to see the thousands of gannets that can be seen breeding at RSPB Bempton Cliffs during the summer and also to enjoy the coast around Flamborough Head. The cute puffins also known to breed there have already gone by mid-August. The purpose of the trip was really to do a reccie for a week-long trip next summer. Compared to the experience last summer at Grassholm, it was so much better, getting a much closer view of these stunning large sea birds and their chicks.
