Arctic Adventure in Svalbard, Norway

I flew from London Heathrow to Longyearbyen in the Svalbard Archipelago, Norway, via Oslo and Tromso (red marker on the left map). Longyearbyen is the most northern permanent populated town in the world! It's 3,043km from London. You can see where Longyearbyen and the rest of Svalbard is in relation to the North Pole in the second map (right). The islands (blue) lie just south of 80°N.
